The Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center, established as a Pontifical Institute in 1978 and therefore united to the Vatican and to the person of the Holy Father Pope Leo XIV, invites you to join a timely and meaningful prayer campaign.
“Pray with the Pope” is a global initiative of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network, through which the Holy Father shares a monthly prayer intention in response to the great challenges facing humanity and the Church’s mission. Through The Pope Video and The Pope Audio, this initiative encourages believers on every continent to unite spiritually in a shared intention, making prayer a bridge that connects, inspires, and transforms.
For the month of February, the prayer intention is dedicated to children who suffer from incurable diseases and to their families. The Holy Father invites us to pray that these children may receive proper medical care, compassionate human support, and the emotional accompaniment they need so as not to lose strength or hope. In the face of particularly difficult situations, this intention sheds light on silent suffering, reminding us of the profound dignity of every human life and the essential value of care rooted in compassion.
.Lord, teach us to recognize your face in every suffering child.
This campaign is simple and accessible, allowing anyone—anywhere in the world—to take a moment to pray with the Pope and remain united with the Church’s mission. As part of this commitment, we will be sharing the monthly prayer intention in each of our newsletters, encouraging our community to join this global campaign and to pray together, month after month.
